Will I be employed or self employed?
You will be classed as self employed not employed.

What hours do I have to work?
You will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours with no upper limit, if part time is what you want then Holiday Now is the brand for you.

How much Admin will I have to do?
We try to keep your Admin to a bare minimum and our staff at Head Office take on most of the responsibility.

Do we pay for your local advertising?
We will fund your advertising by 50% as long as your General Manager approves it first!


                

How many hours must I work?
A minimum of 30 hours is required but you should expect to work more hours to achieve a good salary.

How much can I earn?
Nobody will be able to tell you what you are able to earn as it is commission based but the more effort you put into the job the higher the rewards. We pay you 30% of all commissions that are received on each booking.

Can I do this job on a part time basis and still keep my existing job?
It is not something we would encourage because you will end up totally exhausted giving us 30 hours as well as your full time job. Also, when your client calls you back to book something you offered them and you are not available you are losing business.

How long does it take to set up all the equipment?
Usually most people are set up within a month of having the job offered to them.

Do we provide any training?
Yes, we provide three days training at our Head Office in Stoke on Trent. Tarsc is a main feature of the training which is the system we work with but you will also receive training on Sales and Marketing as well as Teletext and Hod pages. Administration and the role of your Sales Support Manager are also included.

Do we pay for the hotel and travelling expenses while you train?
Yes, we book you two nights accommodation in a four star hotel and all meals are provided. We also pay any reasonable out of pocket expenses for your travel whether it is by car, train or plane.

What support do we provide once you have started?
We provide you with your own Sales Development Manager who will help you on a day-to-day basis as well as a help desk at head office and a tarsc help desk for any software related problems. We have someone available seven days a week between 8am until 10pm.

Am I restricted to what I can sell?
No, majority of calls received will be for cruise holiday however you can also sell land based holiday also and benefit from the same commercial deals as other divisions.

           

Which level of commission can I join at?
We prefer to bring you in at a lower level of commission and support you with your marketing in order to ensure a smooth changeover for you clients.

Can I move up to a higher level of commission and when?
Yes, you can move up once certain targets have been achieved and
maintained for a 6 month period.

Do I need to have a client bank?
This is a commission only position and we do not supply leads. You will need to have a good solid client bank to support you and ensure that you have leads to service. We suggest that you look at joining one of our Teletext based operations initially to build up your client bank, with a view to moving to PTA later on.

Do I need to be VAT registered?
This is not a requirement

How much can I expect to earn?
This is a commission only position, therefore the more hours you put in,
the higher your commission earnings. There is no maximum that you can earn.

Who arranges my advertising?
At the 45% commission level, we support your marketing costs, however, you will need to research your own locality and the media in which you wish to advertise.

Can I specialise?
You can specialise in one market, though this is commission only therefore you must expect to service all leads initially while your specialist market grows.

Will someone help me with marketing?
We will assist you in all areas, including the writing of editorial, adverts and leaflets as well as giving you lots of helpful tips and ideas. We will produce regular update for you to send to your clients.

What happens when I go on holiday?
We will ensure that a homeworker with a similar business base to yourself takes your calls and services your clients to the same high standard as yourself.
